  • In another thread, someone (it matters not who) said that just as a man can be the head of a chess club and a bowling league (or whatever the second group was), so can a man be the head of the Catholic Church and the Conciliar Church - simultaneously.

This "analogy" is utterly lacking in applicability, as it betrays a complete lack of understanding of the nature of Holy Church, as well as membership therein.

I cannot go into the monumental defectiveness of this pseudo-analogy in depth right now, but if anyone else wants to comment, go ahead.  I shall make my own comments soon enough.

  • I did not comment on that post previously because I had no idea what it was talking about.

nor is there such thing as a 'Feeneyite' or 'Feeneyism'

  • It was, to be fair, a bit of very poorly thought out nonsense, masquerading as a profound insight.

Membership in, and a fortiori headship of, a supernatural society cannot be equated with membership in a chess club, etc.  Membership in Holy Church automatically EXCLUDES one from membership in any other religious society.  This principle applies, a fortiori, to the head thereof.

  • If one believes in Manichaean, yin-yang, Cabalistic Dualism then one believes that God is 1/2 good guy and 1/2 bad guy. In that sense, a 'pope' could be the head of this current anti-church and the true Vaican I Church also.

  • It would be nice if there was a minor edit available so spelling errors could be corrected.
