I had the same reaction -- at first.  


Then I had some conversations with some friends who are a
little bit behind the 8-ball, shall we say.  

You know, the vast majority of Catholics are not up to speed
like the CI members are.  The vast majority of even trads are
people who are trying to hang on to what's left of their faith,
and they really depend a lot on US to help them keep it from
falling to pieces.  They wonder where we get our zeal..

Zeal is a gift from God.  Don't abuse it.  Don't squander it.

I had the same reaction ( )  and then I paid attention
to what's "out there."

If you know anything at all about Michael Voris, can you honestly
sit there and tell me that there are a lot of Catholics who will be
able to sit still and not pay attention to what Mr. Voris is going to
say?  Do you think that they've already heard it from the pulpit
at their local parish? -------- Think again.............

If you know anything at all about John Rao, can you honestly tell
me that your local parish pew-sitter is gong to be bored having to
listen to Mr. Rao say the same thing he's heard from Father Chip with
clown nose and beachcomber sandals as vestment items?

If you know anything about John Henry Westin, can you tell me
with confidence that Mr. Westin won't be able to make the audience
squirm in their seat and break out in a sweat with his data, facts
and testimonials of real people with real run-ins with Homeland
Insecurity, the Department of Injustice and the ObamaNation of
Federal Tyranny?







Of course, maybe this is all old news to you.  

Maybe you should give your own conference, then?  And see if you
can get people to show up, rent a hotel room, buy airplane tickets,
wear a suit, genuflect at Mass.  All that stuff.

I think I would go to a Ecclesia Militans conference.
