  • Sounds like we have an idiot troll on the forum ^^^

You're new to this forum, troll, but I have called out Archbishop Lefebvre's error on EENS numerous times.  This doesn't mean he was anything but confused and mistaken in good faith.  You've done nothing but troll against Archbishop Lefebvre since you got here, first starting multiple threads questioning the validity of his Holy Orders and then multiple threads calling him a heretic.  I'll give you some benefit of the doubt that you're too much of an idiot to understand the difference between pertinacious / formal heresy and material heresy (good faith error).  +Lefebvre made his statement believing it to be the teaching of the Church, and therefore adhered to it due to material error.  This undermining of EENS has gone on so long that even otherwise orthodox and conservative Catholics were hoodwinked into believing it.

Now, as said before, get lost.

    Is biblioc lying?

Even though on the thread listed above, biblioc says "no", he's not William DeTucci the author of the books he keeps pushing on this forum, look at what William DeTucci has written:

The publisher of the book quoted above is listed as

    Publisher: ‎ www.vladcatholic.com (January 1, 2009)

Although the website is defunct there is an older posting by "Vlad Catholic", listed at the following:

CMRI SSPX MHFM - Communicatio in Sacris - Pivarunas Fellay Dimond.

Pseudo-Bishop Mark Pivarunas (Sedevacantist) says (SSPX - Who believe in Pope Benedict XVI) are ONE AND THE SAME CHURCH = Schismatical! Bishop Fellay says one can "communicate" in the Sacraments with Heretics. Brothers Michael and Peter Dimond call CMRI and SSPX - Heretics - Yet - Say it is "permissible" to Go to their Masses = Hypocrisy and Schismatical?

  • Yeah, despite pretending as though he's merely asking questions and trying to initiate discussions, he's clearly trolling with a view to pushing toward the conclusion that he (and Tucci and Vlad ... if they're three separate individuals and not fewer than 3) are the only Catholics left in the world, and the rest are all heretics.

Ubi biblioc, ibi Ecclesia, eh, buddy?

Seems not, because his posts are still visible and he’s still on the members list, more’s the pity.

He's not appearing in the member list:

Matthew doesn't change the membership level listed on a banned users posts to say "Banned". Consequently, in the OP it still says Newbie under his username.

Poster CM was banned around 2010, and his posts are still visible.

  • I do NOT purge all posts when a member is banned. Sometimes I'll trim/moderate/delete the last few -- when they went off on me and/or CathInfo for example. But in general, for every month a member was behaving, in good standing, those posts will always stay.

I was NOT aware of this man's anti-Lefebvre rhetoric. Shows how closely I moderate the forum, I know. WHEN IN DOUBT, PLEASE REPORT THINGS LIKE THIS. I only found out yesterday because of some friendly moderator reports.

Not all topics interest me, and I don't have time to click on all of them. I have a threshold, below which I just don't care, don't click, don't investigate. Why is that? Probably because I have a full time job, and when I'm home I have tons of things to do, maintain, and take care of: I have a wife and 9 kids, 5 acres, multiple buildings, multiple gardens, about 18 fruit trees, multiple vehicles, a chapel, a popular forum, and a webserver. I have so much going on I'll NEVER be bored.

A co-worker recently told me he was planning to play video games all weekend, because his girlfriend was out of town. He is about 25 years old, single, and owns a small house (cabin?) on some family property. I can't conceive of such a lifestyle devoid of responsibility and maturity. I can conceive it, but only because I have a GREAT imagination. I could imagine living life on an asteroid too. But seriously, his lifestyle is as foreign to me as living in the 1700s, or living in a poor village in Africa. Completely different from anything I can easily imagine or relate to.

P.S. The current CathInfo software DOES remove banned members from the main, public-facing Members list, as well as remove them from the current member count. I didn't ask for this, and frankly I would prefer the software leave the member in the listing AND the member count, like all other forum software in existence. But c'est la vie.
