Just to be clear, if Bp Scarpone was consecrated by Paul VI, then the N.O. consecration rite was used, not the Roman Traditional rite, correct?
However, if so, any doubtfulness would be resolved by the fact that it was the highest authority, the Pope, and we know Paul IV's intent was the intent of the Church... correct? [sedevacantists' position on Paul IV's standing as a true Pope notwithstanding]
And... the bigger problems of lack of proper intent were isolated at that time to the whackiest heretics like Rahner, et al, but we're pretty sure Paul VI didn't have a heretical understanding of what a priest is/does...correct?
The bigger problems arise about a decade later when the heretics' ideas about the priesthood/Eucharist really caught fire with the Bernardins, Weaklands, Hunthousens.... am I right?
I.e. the doubtfulness is circuмscribed in the early years and grows in the later years, like NOW, when it it the wild wild west...correct?
So, are the the Servants...okay?
