Riiight, Burke.  When 90%+ of those who self-identify as "Catholic" are heretics on one point or another, where not only heresy but blasphemy and grave sin run rampant, there's no emergency, right?

+Burke's proposal to revert to Summorum Pontificuм and even improve on it would bring peace and unity to the Church. as an indult trad, I support Cardinal +Burke's statement below:

"The restrictions were described as based on a survey the Vatican conducted, asking the world’s bishops about the reception of Summorum Pontificuм in their dioceses. Recent reports revealed that – contrary to the narrative supplied – the survey results were actually positive to the traditional Mass, and at the very least opposed to implementing restrictions. Indeed, Archbishop Alexander Sample stated this week that he told the Vatican “if you want to see division, put more restrictions on this Mass within the Church. That is going to create division.”
One prominent advocate of the traditional liturgy, Cardinal Raymond Burke, commented in June 2025 that he had already spoken to the Pope about the traditional Mass, expressing his hope that change would soon occur: “It is my hope that he will – as soon as it is possible – take up the study of this question and try to restore the situation as it was after Summorum Pontificuм and even to develop what Pope Benedict XVI had so wisely and lovingly legislated for the Church.”
Many such calls have been made in recent weeks, with cardinals, bishops and canon lawyers all lending their voice to Burke’s in light of the episcopal consecrations performed by the Society of Saint Pius X."
