Catholic Charities and Obama

Perhaps I'm missing the boat, so to speak, but I must say that I'm perplexed and disappointed by Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York's invitation to President Obama to speak at the annual Al Smith Dinner.

When asked if consideration was given to the Obama administration's recent attacks on religious freedom, particularly Catholicism, in inviting the president, [Meghan Myers, the executive director of the annual fundraiser] replied that she could not comment on the invitation since she did not extend it. Obama was invited, she said, by New York Cardinal Timothy Dolan....
The idea of cancelling the traditional appearance of the presidential candidates is not without precedent. On two occasions since 1960 the presidential candidates were not invited by the Archdiocese of New York to the dinner — in 1996 (Cardinal John O'Connor), when strongly pro-abortion Bill Clinton was a candidate, and in 2004 (Cardinal Egan), during the candidacy of also strongly pro-abortion Democrat John Kerry....
Interestingly, on July 9:
Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago joined an ongoing lawsuit in federal court ... seeking to overturn the mandate issued by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). To receive an exemption from the mandate, Catholic Charities must abandon its longstanding commitment, rooted in its Catholic faith, to serve the poor regardless of their religion.
'The sole matter at hand is that religious freedom has been compromised by the mandate in violation of the First Amendment of our nation's Constitution,' said Monsignor Michael M. Boland, Administrator, President and CEO of Catholic Charities. Regarding the limited exemption to the HHS mandate, Boland added that 'HHS fails to understand that there is no distinction between our Catholic faith and our commitment to serve the needs of all people regardless of their religion.'
'We support health care reform and efforts to expand access to health care to all Americans. But we oppose any policy that compels us to compromise our Catholic faith. Make no mistake: This mandate affects all religions and anyone of faith. This is about religious liberty. We must take a stand, not only on behalf of Catholic Charities, but for all faith-based organizations. We must protect our right to serve all the poor, not just those HHS defines for us,' Boland said.
Good for Catholic Charities of Chicago! But why in the heck is Catholic Charities of New York — apparently Cardinal Dolan himself — inviting our Church-persecuting president to speak at a Catholic fundraiser?
I asked Father Frank Pavone of Priests for Life for his comments on the matter.
Father Pavone responded:
"I'm all in favor of protocol and understand the difference between respecting the president's policies vs. respecting his office. But there comes a time when the polite putting aside of differences for a while amounts to scandal. There comes a time when enough is enough and we can no longer afford to give people a reason to doubt our position as a Church. Today, the unjust HHS mandate went into effect for Priests for Life and millions of other Americans, and I announced to our staff that we are disobeying the mandate [click here to see the video]. So, no, I don't think the invitation is appropriate at this time."
I also asked Michael Hichborn of American Life League for his comments on the matter.
Hichborn responded:
"We are living in possibly the greatest time of confusion that the Catholic Church has ever known. Catholics are profoundly confused about fundamental principles like birth control, ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity, abortion, Mass attendance, and even the true presence of Christ in the Eucharist. Given the latest revelations about Catholic Relief Services' errant funding practices [click here for the story], the ongoing scandal at the Catholic Campaign for Human Development, and the serious problems at the Catholic Health Association, hosting Barack Obama at a Catholic Charities event, and giving him a platform to speak, only compounds the extreme confusion among American Catholics.
"In St. Paul's letter to the Romans, he said, 'The wages of sin is death. But the grace of God, life everlasting in Christ Jesus our Lord.' It's time to stop over-emphasizing the symptoms of sin, which are poverty, plagues, illness, and injustice, and go back to the very purpose for being a Catholic, unity with Our Blessed Lord. Until the Church returns to preaching the Good News about Jesus' Mercy and the joy of the Eucharist, while encouraging repentance and the rejection of sin, the Catholic Church will continue to resemble the political philanthropy that modern society claims that it is."

This is why Catholics in America even voted for Obama--the priests were afraid to point out his extreme pro-abortion background. The Bishops, like Cardinal George in Chicago, took no stand. We in Illinois knew it, but no one listened. As a representative in the Illinois House, Obama wrote legislation supporting the firing of a nurse at Christ hospital--because she rescued a live, crying baby from the biological waste bucket. The baby was supposed to be aborted, but survived several hours to die, shivering, as the nurse held it in a blanket.

This week, I received a newspaper from "One More Soul", their response to the HHS mandate! I am a BOM teacher and that is how I got this paper. This is the first newspaper that I remember receiving from them. Usually it is flyers or a small catalog for buying teaching material. Now, before I tell you anything more about the newspaper, I need to give some background of BOM. Billings Method Ovulation Method. I was a teacher in 1987 and had the knowledge in 1979. The teaching material was secular, many denominations teach it. Next, federal grants keep the group going. It means secular teaching. In 1995 I found out that top women in the DC area for BOM and here in AZ were witches!
So, now, I started to read this paper this week. Bishop Lori, on behalf of the USCCB abridged version before the committee on the Judiciary, Untied State HOuse of Representatives, Feb. 28, 2012: says(pg 2) I would like to discuss the various absurd consequences that have flowed from the HHS mandate. He lists them First, Second and etc. Fourth reads: Sterilization, contraception, and abortifacients are essential, but essential health benefits are not.
This is the 2nd time I have run across a bishop saying, the immorality of family planning is ok, but not for us. Now, mind you this is not acceptable! Contraception in any man made fashion is against God and bishop Lori is saying it is essential. Then a little quote from Archbishop Timothy Dolan.
To make a long story short, I thought that "One More Soul" was an off shoot of BOM and maybe ok. Well, I sure think different now. So, I told them to take me off their list. I wonder who put them up to this. But as long as there is federal grants, and bishops trying to keep themselves looking pro-life and money trails to feds, and their agenda of immoralities, we will get propaganda that it is the gov't mandating when in truth the USCCB have been serving, supporting, the gov't agenda for decades and serving up sterilizations, contraception and abortions. They took the money and had to align themselves to the agendas/ideology of the UN and such. And let us not leave out the Industrial areas foundation. They are great agitators and when they have meetings they are very secret and they are in all nooks and crannies of the catholic church.

I ama member of the Lumen Cordium Society and have written a note of criticism to Francis Cardinal George for his silence on the HHS matter. Fianlly on July 9 he posted that we will join in the HHS lawsuit.
There are many covert groups in the church, and many strange people who teach NFP--and that can affect people's choices.

I have to be honest and say that several of the NFP instructors in our area are sort of goofy. They dress strangely, they come to meetings kind of dirty and dissheveled, and one family lets their kids run around in nothing but really dirty diapers with no attention, It kind of scares normal people away.

I suspect that the Cardinal will lose! When the catholic church joined the federal government, they became traitors to God. The Catholic Church owned her hospitals, orphanages and schools, clinics and then in about 1936-1950 the church changed her ways, and shook hands with Moscow. We have had communist infiltrators as clergy for a long time. For example: in 1935 there was alot of anti-catholic propaganda and paranoia of catholics taking over and then by 1950 there is a change with the catholic charities, went from catholic hands to the gov'tment. When people give to CCHD and such they are giving to United Way, pro-abort people. CRS is another. Another example; the schools were offered federal assistance in the 60's and 70's. In our dioceses at that time,we refused and fought them off, because we knew that once we took the money there were strings attached. You have to follow their directives. So, once the schools took the money, then they had to come under the feds guidelines for health and safety in the schools like sex education. We had bishops put sex ed in the catholic schools when it was against the state laws to put it in a public school, That happened here in PHX, AZ. I was in a womens group (4) who were out to find out who was the enemy, I read the federal grants by permission of the Governor. We found the enemy alright, it was the Catholic church doing the dirty job and agenda of the Federal Gov't. So, we are not being mandated. The Bishops have been up to agreeing with contraception, and condoms and abortion, ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity for a long time. The Clergy is trying is every way not to let the cat out of the bag! They will try all kinds of ways to look pro-life and this is just another way of keeping themselves looking good, when in fact they said yes to the feds and their rules. HHS has nothing to do with the 1st amendment either. It was the clergy who said yes to the enemy and are the enemy, hiding. They are communist! That is why trying to write to clergy goes no where! If you say rosary in front of an abortion clinic, it would be better to say rosary in front of the dioceses! The dioceses have referred ladies for abortion via the so-called catholic hospitals and St. Vincent De Paul clinics and even Catholic Social Services referred me to Planned Parenthood for learning NFP! Yes, its is true! The ladies in the group cried for weeks when they knew the truth in 1990, kind of late but better late than never, uh!

It should scare you away and what I exposed, should scare everyone away. The people are strange because there is more going on then you know. Every cranny of denominations have the Industrial Areas Foundation in their groups. IAF is communistic and their group is a pyramid. Money! and little gets down from the top. Chicago has had IAF before AZ. You are mosts defintely in a bad thing!

I am from Indiana and I have not heard that phrase in awhile! How do they get money in that group? What partnerships give to it? That is how to find just who you are dealing with. Then you find out who they support. But save yourself the energy and get out. Find yourself a nice traditional church that takes care of itself and gives nothing to the gov't. That would be a eye opener. We are 59 years old and we had no idea about the traditional til we came to AZ. We were air force military and roamed around and settle here. That is when I saw that things were rotten in the New Order catholic church and we were blessed to find a way out and learn what was really going on. It took about 10 years to get out! What a joy!!

Cardinal Dolan is a liberal who poses as a conservative. Many within novus ordo are hoping that he will become Pope.
By inviting Pres. Obama to the Catholic Charities dinner, Cardinal Dolan is sending out sublimal message for Catholics to vote for Obama.
When Dolan was bishop he went along with NY mayor with religion ban during the ten year anniversary memorial of sept 11th. He denied Christ and he denied September 11, 2001.
There were priests from Jersey who even gave money to obama's first campaign.
Sister Keehan of the "catholic" medical association has voiced support for Obama, abortion and contaceptives and yet she still remains. Rome takes no action to correct any errors and yet it accuses sspx of heresy.
Recently, the novus ordo punished and exiled a priest because he refused to give communion to lesbian budist gαy rights activist.
Father Jenkins invited Obama to Notre Dame and was never corrected by Rome. Instead, Rome gave Jenkins permission to persecuted many who were praying the Rosary and protesting the event, including the late Father Weslin.
They also close down schools and churches and even limit novus ordo masses.
This is pure evil and not Catholic.
And if Sspx decides to join them then they are an accomplice to the "silent' apostacy.

If Cardinal Dolan, like Our Lord, were to sit down for lunch with the President, call him to repentance, and defend the life of the innocent, I doubt that anyone would have a problems with that. That is not what is happening here.
