Once one resolves in their mind that he is not the Pope, he becomes the object of intense and unmitigated hatred. No amount of vitriol is sufficient to satisfy the extraordinary bitterness. Heaping scorn upon scorn in order to reinforce their private opinions and in turn fueling even more hatred and disgust. The causation is reciprocal.

I concede that rather than revel in how evil someone looks (he does look evil, even without the 'make-up') we should pray for their conversion (if we are Catholic, and not heretics, like most people on this forum).

Imagine how much good would come from the conversion of Ratzinger. If he realized that he was being used by satan, and said "enough is enough, I now dedicate my life to the Lord Jesus Christ, I belong to Him alone!"

If he resigned from his illegitimate claim to the papacy, publicly abjured of his heresies, schisms and apostasies, denounced all of Vatican II, and all of the antipopes of the 20th century. :sign-party-time:

I seriously doubt all the Catholics on CathInfo are heretics, especially since CathInfo attracts the more serious and good-willed sort.

Yeah, you can't judge by appearances. Wojtyla had an extremely pleasing face and manner, as do most movie stars who are bisɛҳuąƖ communists.

I don't think Ratzinger even looks that evil. Only occasionally, in pictures like the above, which ironically are usually used by EXTREMELY liberal Catholics who call him a "nαzι Pope" and think he's too strict.

Sometimes Ratzinger with his little shock of fluffy white hair is kinda cute.

Paul VI on the other hand looks just like a Jєωιѕн vampire. It's kind of disappointing if he's the Antichrist. He fits the role TOO well. John-Paul is more sinister because he was more angelic.

If I were alive at the time of Paul VI I probably would have said to myself "Okay, don't judge, he is the Pope and has a beautiful soul."

That's true. Pople JPII had a "holy aura" about himself but he was the worst pope ever - much worse than Pope Benedict XVI.

By the way, those who mock the person of the Pope with unflattering photographs should remember that the man they call "Ratzinger" is still a priest. Even if Benedict XVI is an anti-pope as they claim, he's still a priest. That doesn't change.

When you mock a priest, you mock Christ.
