Calumnies of SeanJohnson
« on: July 10, 2022, 01:02:02 PM »
Since Johnson has refused to retract his grave calumnies and slanders against me, I feel the need to call them out here.

1)  Johnson has repeatedly called me a "sodomite" and then later a "homo."  There is no truth whatsoever to these allegations.  I am married with 6 children and have never had even the slightest inclination toward this unnatural vice.  In find it repugnant.  Johnson used these as puerile insults after I posted a link (without comment) to some statements made by Father Noel Barbara.  [In the same sentence, he also slandered Fathers Barbara and Shoonbroodt by calling them liars, simply because he didn't like what they had to say.]

2)  Johnson lied on a different thread in claiming that I had accused St. Pius X of simony for using the term "stipend" in relation to Mass requests.  He did this in an attempt to discredit me because he didn't like my position on a entirely unrelated subject.  In point of fact, I had criticized the SOCIETY of St. Pius X for giving the impression of simony by using the term "fee" and giving a price list for their Masses and even specifying the currency.  I had in fact defended the term "stipend" as the term well-known and understood by Catholics, and I had made no mention whatsoever of St. Pius X himself.

In the case of #1, aggravated by the fact that I had revealed my real identity, readers might have been led to suspect that there was some substance to Johnson's false allegations, thinking along the lines of, "What does Johnson know about Ladislaus that I do not?" or believing that there might at the very least be some factual basis for the assertion.  There is no factual basis for this whatsoever.  Johnson was simply using this as a puerile playground-quality insult.

In the case of #2, readers of that thread who were not aware of what I had actually posted on the subject (in an entirely unrelated thread) may have come to the conclusion that I had the temerity to accuse St. Pius X of simony, possibly even as a result associating me with those like Ibranyi who claim that the vacancy of the Holy See extends back that far.

Both of these had the potential to cause damage to my reputation, and yet when rebuked for it, Johnson refused to retract these grave calumnies.  Consequently, I felt the need to clear my name.  Thus this thread.  I started a new thread about this, since I have no idea who may or may not have read the original calumnies, and whether those same would read this statement of mine buried in some other lengthy thread.

The hypocrite cries in pain as he strikes you!

Looks like Matthew is going to bail Loudestmouth out by locking my thread, but leaving this **** thread open.

No worries: Next time Loudestmouth opens his yapper, DR will pin him to the wall again, and again.

Am I the only one who found Lads’ lamentation of merit and useful ?

Am I the only one who finds the Lads-Johnson feud totally hilarious?

:laugh1:

Oh Lord, what is wrong with me ?

Maybe they could get their own members-only section where they could duke it out

More seriously, it might make sense to have some kind of sub-section to redirect R&R vs Sede vacante, Flat-Eartherism, etc., thread derailing posts. Something like "Controversy Locker"? Or would all posts end up in there? :laugh1:
