  • Before I post the link to this thread on CAF, I'd like to add that a year ago today I was banned from (un)Catholic Answers, something I consider to be a badge of honor. I joined Catholic Info right afterwards (also a year from today, I know my profile says I signed up here on May 21st but it was really May 20th). Anyway, this memorable day made me have a look at CAF and, to no surprise, the definition of a Traditional Catholic seems a bit jumbled there. Of all the posts that caught my attention though, what really stood out at me was that a sedevacantist there was banned after only two posts! Man, what a modernist site. You may have a look (if you can do so without puking).

  • Pure insanity.. its a circus over there. Silencing the sede in the name of Catholicism. Unreal.

If there was a muslim on there, or a Jєω ranting away for their religion, they would get a podium and PA system for all on CAF to hear. But the sede gets told to shut up, file in line, or get out.

Thats how I know where the truth is.. if I'm being told to shut up and not discuss anything to anyone. Don't want to open the minds of the unawaken, now do we??

  • Pope Benedict XVI reminds us that we should not view "traditional" and "progressive" as opposites. The church must act differently to different cultures and times in the world. but church laws and divine laws are still the priority.

what's the point of talking to someone like that?

  • I completely agree with PartyIsOver and Telesphorus. The modernist mods and members there do what Vatican II did, they kiss up to non-Catholics and shun Traditional Catholics. The sede who got banned has his post edited by a moderator.

  • If a true Catholic went on there and started unashamedly telling them the truth they'd be permabanned immediately. Being censured by CAF for the truth is a good barometer of how Traditional you are.

True Catholicism is barred there. The forum only exists for Neo-Caths to amuse each other and, ironically, debate Prots whose "worship services" are just like the NOM.

  • That's true, stevus. I'm glad I was banned from there, I can't stand that site. It looks like a few more Trads and semi-Trads have joined there since I left, but I still wouldn't be interested in going back. Kind of like how after attending a TLM you can't go back to the NO, when you start posting on CatholicInfo you can't go back to CAF!

  • They are blind sheep following a, for all intents and purposes, blind shepherd and hireling bishops.

They want to do the right thing, but can only do it within the limits prescribed to them by their authorities. Their true sensus Catholicus is suppressed out of a false sense of obedience. They are told that their natural longing for Tradition is but a "preference" and to offer up the altar girls, EM's, CITH and guitars if their "preference" is not deigned to be given them by their local ordinary. The same ordinary who allows one TLM at 8 am in an inconvenient location while clapping hands at his local rock Mass.

The best thing to do is pray for grace in the form of a holy and just anger to finally come upon these souls so that they take the stones they were given for bread, throw them away, and demand their birthright from the wolves. Then when the wolves refuse shake the dust from their feet and find true shepherds.

Life is too damn short to go to the Novus Ordo Mass.
