This is the full-length interview Stephen conducted with Julius Smetona, whose grandfather Antanas Smetona was president of Lithuania from 1919 until 1920. He also reigned from 1926 until 1940.

  • I worked on "What Catholics Believe" with Julius for a few months ... but then parted ways after they produced a show mocking some of the +Thuc bishops, including Bishop McKenna, in a very puerile manner.  Disagree if they must, but that was childish and contrary to charity.

  • Yes- Fr Jenkin is not so kind with most Thuc consecrated Bishops, calling them "Father" instead.

Right ... but this was worse than that.  At least one could justify doing that in principle, but what they did in that particular show (that caused me to sever ties with them) was far worse, just childish mockery.  Not, it wasn't Father Jenkins doing it, but, rather, some video taking of Bishop McKenna with a voiceover mocking him ... though Father Jenkins did have to approve the final video.

  • With all that said, I do like Julius and consider him a good man ... but he just got caught up in the relentless SSPV propaganda campaign against the +Thuc bishops and the CMRI.

  • So, I'm about halfway through listening, and early on, Julius was just about to talk about the contents of a letter sent to his father by a Cardinal who was close with Cardinal Ottaviani and who had read the Third Secret ... but then Kokx cuts him off and asks some dumb question that Julius was talking about here or there anyway.

    Are you kidding me?

Has anyone actually counted how many people have "seen the third secret of Fatima", either who claim to have done so or have been rumored by others to have done so? It must be a vast multitude. I get the impression sometimes that practically everyone in the world has seen the third secret of Fatima except me.

Well, I guess I MAY have seen it, if you think that Tradition in Action third secret is authentic. :laugh1:

Ugh . I like Bishop Pivarunas so much. He never retaliated in kind as far as I have seen.

What do you expect? Whenever anyone is looking for Yeti, he's nowhere to be found.

Yeah, see, more of the same bullshit here, where you scoff at anything unusual or extraordinary, living in terror clutching your security blanket from the toddler years, to say nothing of the fact that this statement is crap.  There are perhaps about a half dozen people who claim to have read the Third Secret, and some of them quite credible, including Cardinal Ciappi, who said it referred to an apostasy that began at the top.  Apart from some anonymous and spurious claims on the internet, that's a real / credible source.  As would a Cardinal who had been a close associate of Ottaviani.  Or are you claiming that Cardinal Ciappi and this Cardinal who was a friend of the Smetona family are abject liars?  I guess you'd rather believe that all these Cardinals are a pack of liars than to consider that what they say might be true.  I doubt the Cardinal would have revealed any specific details, but he could have spoken in generalities like Ciappi did.  But you smear these men by dumping them into the same category as the un-sourced ones like the one published by TIA.

When a credible high-ranking prelate from before Vatican II (not the pack of liars who claimed it was about Wojtyla), but men like Ciappi, and this other Cardinal  say they saw it, they saw it.  But you moronically try to lump them in with the fake crap on the internet.  Disgraceful, and pathetic.  In addition, Father Amorth, even if he's Conciliar, also appears to be a credible source, and he relates in an interview what Padre Pio told him about the Third Secret.  That too is a credible source.  But your idiotic emoticons just serve to make you look like a fool.
