Just shut up.  You're obviously completely ignorant, claiming that wearnig beards and his garb are weird and therefore somehow "rabbinic".  You have no idea what you're talking abou.  "Stay away?"  What ... do you live in proximity to him?  Shut up and mind your own business.  You can also decide that he's "mentally unstable"?

This is precisely the type of Trad-Phariseeism that turns people away from Traditional Catholicism.

We need to welcome him and rejoice in his conversion to Catholicism.  If "mental instability" exludes someone from membership in the Church, probably 50% of current Trads would be in trouble.

It sounds like you were just waiting for someone to take the other side so you could bash them. Everyone else on this thread is going along like a bunch of sheep with blinders on. On the contrary, it's people who fit the definition of "religious fanatic" who discredit Traditional Catholicism when they show up at a chapel like Post Falls and post about it on social media. Just a quick search of his social media platforms reveals that this guy has a long history (since 2006) of spreading lies and acting like a lunatic right up to the present month. In just a few of his recent shorts, he says the only valid baptism is triple immersion, and "I have been accepted at an SSPX brother" - I dont think so. He literally wrote "come along my followers - to the SSPX resistance we go!". He seems to think the SSPX = the SSPX resistance. It seems he really doesn't know WHAT he's talking about half the time. By posting photos of Bishop Williamson he will only discredit the good Bishop's name. Is BroNat a self proclaimed religious leader? Next year he will be with a different religious group no doubt.

He has all the marks of a trend jumper. Just because he takes the contrarian side, he gets followers (like all of you even) to take an interest in what he has to say. You hear a juicy piece of conspiracy theory and you want to back him up and pat him on the back for going up against the hierarchy. Meanwhile he's been jumping around on street corners dancing with a crucifix. Hardly commendable behavior. Sure, perhaps he's publicly spoken truths about the JQ, but that doesn't mean he's a hero.

If he left the ROCOR two years ago, why is he wearing the garb? He got a blessing, but they said he was just a novice and for years he kept hopping around to different monasteries. Which group does he ascribe to if his garb makes a public statement that he belongs to Eastern Orthodox? I admit I don't know how their blessings or offices work, but that's secondary to the point. There is so much that is fishy about all this that one could find a mountain of evidence. All one should say is watch out and stay away.

I think the biggest crime is that he's seeking to be a leader of a flock that he gathers to himself. Only a Catholic priest should preach on the topics that he brings up. I see just another social media influencer. You don't know if someone like him has a manager behind the scenes now working on his social media accounts to draw followers and views.  I think it's unfortunate for the SSPX if he's just jumping on their 'bandwagon' now because now they're "schismatic" and controversial. He picked Post Falls likely because of the big crowds. Red flags all over. I think a sign of a true conversion would be humility and not more proud showy media posts. If I'm wrong, may he see the truth and take down all of his heretical videos. I hope that I'm wrong about his conversion being suspect, and I hope that he gets the help he needs. God bless you.

  Interesting post, Thanks.
Never heard about BroNat till a few days ago. Was he an Ortho monk? He received a special blessing from a priest... What is a monk doing online? He says he wants to "join" NeoSSPX, but join (becoming a member) is very different from assisting or supporting. I am 95% certain Fr. Pagliarani will reject any type of public promotion of this Brother, if only for Bro's acknowledging the ""Resistance"", (period).

Yesterday I went to the Solesmes web page, and the theme of the web page is : SHOP. Of course they are N.Ordo...$$$ Then a photo of two monks organising the sale of fruits, under the heading: What do monks do in today's world...

BroNat is so very enthousiastic, like you point out: thousands of followers, 'this is only the beginning' etc. He is shopping for an audience...looks like.

We need to keep our reservations to ourselves.
What the F are you talking about?  This guy is a public figure, who openly talks about the joos, and hasn't been shut down in YEARS.  Seems fishy.

Nobody has to keep any reservations to themselves, as he's a public figure and this is a public website.

He's a soul created in the image and likeness of God ... and assholish behavior like this might push someone away.  You act like you're doing some kind of service exposing some crap that you don't even know what it is or might be.

This is why Traddism is sterile.

#1) even if you had concrete reason to suspect insincerity, i.e. vs. smoking-gun proof, where it's just guessess about "seems fishy" and other such bullcrap, just shut up.  If you're wrong, you could be contributing to the loss of a soul.  You'd need an extremely compelling reason to run your mouth or your fingers.  I'm sure you're doing a lot of good for anyone, everyone ... putting on your cape to somehow protect Tradition and the Traditional movement.  Get lost.

#2) there is no evidence, just bullshit gossipy tongue-wagging, since last I checked you don't have the gift of reading souls.

You're pretending like you're objecting to some political views, rather than questioning the sincerity of someone's conversion to the faith in appealing to the "public figure" nonsense.  And the other compelling reason one might speak out contrary to charity would be is if there were some risk of harm, i.e ... you had information to suspect that someone might be a pedophile that would harm children, or that somehow Brother Nathanael might corrupt Traditional doctrine, somehow, by some means.  You have no such compelling reason.

Shut your trap with this effeminate and uncharitable gossip.

That's why it's long overdue to take this stupid forum down.  Way too many jackasses who have nothing better to do than to slander people, wheter +Vigano, or Shia LaBeouf, or Brother Nathanael, or anyone else ... none of which SERVES ANY CONSTRUCTIVE PURPOSES WHATSOEVER.

Every time I saw some unforgiving and yet omniscient Tradisee (Trad Pharisee) slandering Archbishop Vigano, I cringed, and prayed that he wouldn't read this crap and run, not walk, but run as fast as he could in the opposite direction from Tradism, ending up a Buddhist monk or something.

If this is how you greet a prospective convert, and then you end up driving him away, you might be participating in the loss of his soul, as well as the souls of those who might have followed him into the Church.

Indeed, many new converts have mixed motives, or may be weak in some respects ... but the Church has always accepted them and tried to help nurture their initial faith, and it often happens that they grow in strength to become the best Catholics.  That happens when some convert to the faith when contemplating marriage, where perhaps secretly you might wonder how strong their convictions were, etc. ... but you don't go around running your damn mouth (or posting online), lest you take that fragile faith and destroy it.  Now, if you had some concrete evidence where, oh, this prospective spouse told some friends or wrote an e-mail saying that she had faked the conversion just so she could later divorce some rich Catholic and take half.  Otherwise, these are just suspicions.  Maybe the faith is weak, maybe insincere, maybe partly sincere ... BUT YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA AND UNLESS YOU EITHER HAVE CONCRETE EVIDENCE OR THE GIFT OF READING SOULS, charity requires that we give them the benefit of any doubt or suspicion.  You may say as much as you think might be necessary, where you might bring it up to the prospective spouse, or the priest, etc. ... but you certainly don't go around at the donut tables that have become endemic in Trad chapels running your mouth about her "insincerity" or it being "fishy", like some gosspy old lady, lest it get back to her and if she did have a weak faith, you wreck it instead of helping to nuture it, until perhaps it become truly strong and solid.

Shame on you all.
