Remember watching this guy years ago, might give him another look. Any chance you could try for Father David Nix (Padre Peregrino) next? I Think the guy has interviewed Williamson before and has a decent social media presence: including catechesis podcasts on pope Pius X's catechism and the council of Trent.
Look ... BISHOP WILLIAMSON DID NOT BELIEVE THAT. If anything, Bishop Williamson took grief for bringing Sacraments to one group under a so-called "Feeneyite" priest, to some Ukrainian Catholic Traditionalists, and softened considerably in the end toward sedevacantism. In fact, he even famously told the one lady that it was OK for her to attend the Novus Ordo Mass.I knew Bishop Williamson very well ... unlike this Cabbage here, where I went on many long walks with him on the seminary grounds, and he ate dinner with my family on a number of occasions. Bishop Williamson was absolutely hostile to some notion that there's only one true genuine Traditionalist group, which is precisely WHY he didn't found one himself after he was expelled from SSPX. He didn't beleive in Trad groups, but had this view that there is now a disapora of faithful Catholics, some in this group, some in that, etc.Cabbage is promoting crap that his hero Bishop Williamson would denounce. Bishop Williamson would repudiate Cabbage if His Excellency were still alive today.
Hi Tom,Sincere question here. Why do you believe the resistance is the remnant? What is true about the resistance that is not true of other groups? For example, what doctrinal positions, or practices, make it stand out as true?
Perhaps one of the remnants, yes. Do the bishops of the Resistance all believe that only the Resistance is the true remnant? I don't think that Bp. Williamson did.
