Got to wonder if this is part of some grand strategy to choke off the "indult", force all traditionalists (the ones who are not sedevacantist or resistance, that is) into the SSPX. work out some kind of quasi-merger with the FSSP, ICKSP, and others, and corral all TLM adherents into a "containment area", separating them from the rest of the Church.

Corral them... and then what?

Who's being "divisive" here?

I have heard Dr. Taylor Marshal spout that theory... there is a new docuŠ¼ent against the Indult orders apparently being released in the next month. If that happens I can see the Indult Orders splitting in two, one half going 'conservative' Bogus Ordo and the other half SSPX. Then perhaps they will 'excommunicate' the SSPX and declare them in schism.

It's easy to imagine God using this to bolster the numbers of the Resistance/SVs, because the neo-SSPX will not put up any fight, they will likely cower as they have with the vaccine. It will certainly separate the wheat from the chaff. No more fence-sitting for the Indulterers.
