BREAKING NEWS! MODERNISM STRIKES AGAIN
« on: December 02, 2014, 02:06:19 AM »
According to a post circulating on the internet, Pope Francis had nominated an arch-modernist and Marxist to the Catholic See of my country.

More here.

I really hope that they've got it wrong.

Our well informed sources (be it from the Holy See, the Curia or the Nunciature is irrelevant) have confirmed to us that 99.99%, the Holy Father has chosen Fr Fabio Attard, SDB as Malta's new Archbishop.

That's called speculation. May be true. May be false.

Salesian website says nothing about it: http://www.sdb.org/en/Council/Youth_Ministry

True Nadir.

Could also be an attempt by Ratzingerians to blow up the nomination. The Vatican hates this kind of news being leaked beforehand.

I agree with Nado -- this isn't important news. It's more of the same.

And it certainly doesn't "rise above the fray" in terms of the Crisis in the Church. It belongs in that subforum like everything else.

There's a reason we have different subfora for different topics.

Some people are interested in the play-by-play in the Conciliar Church, others (like myself) couldn't care less. We've written off the Conciliar Church hierarchy as a bunch of modernist heretics that need conversion. I'm waiting for that conversion. In the meantime, I waste none of my valuable time keeping an eye on their daily actions.

I don't even care if they technically hold their offices or not. It's irrelevant to me as a Traditional Catholic. I will be receiving my Mass and Sacraments from Traditional priests only, via supplied jurisdiction. Whether or not they are valid popes/cardinals/bishops, they aren't my shepherds and I'm keeping my Faith by avoiding them! If they're valid, they must be disobeyed to follow God. If they are not valid, they still must be disobeyed as impostors. In either case, I should show some respect for them as human beings (as non-condemned, non-judged potential children of God)

So what's the difference? How does it behoove me to argue, study, etc. about something beyond my pay grade, like the status of the Papacy?
