Body-blow for the Catholic Church in Belgium

The other day I ran into a novus ordo friend.  She was complaining to me about all of this and said that she is tired of hearing about it and can't we please just put it to rest and move on.   She went on to say that the whole world is a mess and getting worse.  She then asked me the billion dollar question:  How did this all happen?

She is 72 years old and hasn't the foggiest notion of what has gone on in the Church, and when I told her, I don't think she believed a word of it.

It is so incredible as to make it unbelievable to some.

The revolutionaries did their work well, under the cover of "obedience" and over a long enough time that first small things were swallowed and then larger ones. Defenses to heresy were torn down, very subtly. Unless you were extremely educated on these matters, you could sense something wrong was happening but not enough to give you reason to resist back in their day. Doesn't the Bible say even the elect would be deceived if it were possible?

At this point they have been lead by the nose for so long into this mess they honestly can't see how they got here. I believe it is truly a grace and a great responsibility to even be able to see this crisis for what it is. So many simply cannot see it. I believe, ironically, that the "conservatives" are the biggest road block to truly restoring anything. They have boxed us out, implementing a bunch of half-measures, not truly understanding the disease. They continually try to fight symptoms and get nowhere. They are blind.

This is an excellent example of why a few of us, witnessing what we have in traditional circles, will not just shut up and "stop destroying the traditional movement".

The tactics of the Belgian warlocks are the same the world over.  It starts by people being selfish, and only caring about their own self-interest.

Child abuse only thrives in silence.

They are blind indeed!

Matthew - I don't feel that he posted it "proudly".  It doesn't sound the least bit biased - did he not give just the facts?  If you could talk to him what would you say?  What could you say - these are the facts.

Alexandria - I know exactly how you feel about these older clueless Catholics.  I had the great grace, as stevusmagnus said, of having savvy Catholic friends in the 70's that clued me in as a young mother as to what was going on in the church, otherwise I wonder what would have happened to me.  Yes, we need to speak out just like they did in the beginning.
