If the VII church is held together at all, it's only held together by its complete chaos. If you lock a bunch of kids in a classroom with no teacher, they will be flinging snotballs at each other, but they will still be in the same room and unified... Unity doesn't mean much when all it means is that you sit in the same buildings.

The reason for factions in the traditional world is that so far there is no agreement on how to respond to the Church having been hijacked. The Vatican II types are the Prots. The various groupings of traditionals are the ones who disagree on how to un-Prot things. That's the difference.

Because they have big families in common, big benefactors in common, money managing and property ownership practices in common.

Their families go back and forth between the properties.

They know well the abuses in each of their properties and schools. While pretending to be champions of Tradition, they are defenders of the other's abuses of authority.

They both pretend to be under obedience to a bishop, when that is simply not true in any traditional sense.

They both despise the Daughters of Mary.

They are the New Priestly Landlord Society.

Who gets the properties when they retire or die?
