  • Strong words of the Superior General of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX / SSPX), Bishop Bernard Fellay, against any suspicion of Antisemitism.

    1. First, in a declaration made yesterday to Famille Chrétienne, the French Catholic weekly, as reported by La Croix this Sunday:

Bishop Bernard Fellay welcomed "Famille Chrétienne" [French Catholic weekly] on January 31, in his General House of Menzingen, Switzerland. He responded in particular to the accusations of Antisemitism cast at the Fraternity of Saint Pius X.

"We evidently condemn every act of murder of the innocent. It is a crime that cries to heaven! Even more so when it is related to a people. We reject every accusation of Antisemitism. Completely and absolutely. We reject every form of approval of what happened under Hitler. This is something abominable. Christianity places Charity at a supreme level. Saint Paul, speaking of the Jєωs, proclaims, 'I wished myself to be an anathema [from Christ], for my brethren!" (Rom. 9, 3). The Jєωs are "our elder brothers" in the sense that we have something in common, that is, the old Covenant. It is true that the acknowledgment of the coming of the Messiah separates us.

"It is very interesting to notice that the Church did not await for the Council to prescribe courses of action regarding the Jєωs. Since the 30s, even during the war, several texts of Rome provide a very just position: the abominations of the Hitlerist regime must be condemned! 'Spiritually, we all Semites', Pope Pius XI had said. It is a truth which comes from Sacred Scripture itself, 'we are sons of Abraham,' Saint Paul also affirms."

    2. Also by an e-mail message sent this Sunday to the Rev. Dr. Alcuin Reid (forwarded to several blogs):

        Statement by Dr Alcuin Reid:

On Friday BBC Radio asked me to discuss recent events concerning the SSPX on 'The Sunday Programme' this morning. Following that request I asked the SSPX for comment on the issues to be discussed. Unfortunately Bishop Fellay's reply reached me only after the programme aired. His reply, wriiten for publication, states:

"The position of Bishop Williamson is clearly not the position of our Society. Antisemitism has no place in our ranks. We follow fully God's commandments on justice and charity and the constant teaching of the Church. Antisemitism has been condemned by the Church. So do we condemn it. I fully agree with Fr Schmidberger's statement about Bishop Williamson's words. (www.fsspx.info)"

        God bless you

        +Bernard Fellay

  • That's incorrect -- Bishop Williamson made no "anti-semitic" remarks. He merely (prudently or imprudently, that is the debate) expressed his opinion -- which he emphasized was only his opinion -- that the research suggested that gas chambers did not kill 6 million Jєωs during the so-called h0Ɩ0cαųst.

Since when can't a bishop be a teacher, nevermind expressing a personal opinion? He never gave it out as being the SSPX's position.

    How is that anti-semitic?

I agree with most of what Bishop Fellay says -- Charity must be maintained at all times, the Jєωs were beloved by St. Paul, they had the Old Covenant, etc.

But it doesn't follow that Bishop Williamson's comments were anti-semitic.

So Bishop Fellay condemns...the REMARKS made by Bishop Williamson. The presumption is that +W's remarks would be condemned by the Church.

I hope Bishop Fellay isn't TOO anxious to re-unite with Rome...early (that is, before the time).

  • I read an article by Dr. Thomas Drolesky this weekend. In it he took great time in listing sermons from St. John Chrysostom in regards to the desease many suffered in his days. What desease? The Jєωs. He made it very clear that we are to have nothing to do with or recognize in anyway anything about the Jєωs, except to pray for their conversion. He would have been aghast at this "elder brother" nonsense, as he went to great lengths to show that they ALWAYS disobeyed God which is why they were always in some form of suffering for their sinfulness. And, that even though they have the old testament in their ѕуηαgσgυєs, it is no different then when a pagan ruler placed these writings in a temple to a pagan God. It means nothing.
Sad to say that Fr. Moderator (who time has shown to be correct in most things) is being proven right again. Fellay was always working to get in good with folks running NewChurch.

  • Here is the argument Bishop Fellay is using:

Major: Antisemitism was condemned by the Church, being against Charity.
Minor: Bishop Williamson's words were antisemitic.
Conclusion: Bishop Williamson's words are condemned by the Church, and against the precept of Charity.

I take issue with the MINOR.

His statements are considered Anti-semitic by the Jєωs, in the sense that ANY criticism of the Jєωs marks one as anti-semitic. (Criticizing Israel for using White Phosphorus on civilians, for example)

However, musing about the historical reality of the h0Ɩ0cαųst is NOT hatred of the Jєωs. Studying a historical event was NEVER condemned by the Church!

I am shocked to see Bishop Fellay using such sophisms and bad arguments!

What course has Bishop Fellay pursued these past two years?  I am not sanguine about the future.

H.E. Bishop Williamson has been mercilessly beaten left and right since the publication of that interview. I sense that His Lordship is prepared to be martyred for the Faith and that such martyrdom may not be too far ahead of us.

I agree. After the Zionist get B Williamson, they are coming after us.

It is so important to get the B. out of this trouble. Especially if you want to be able to go to church every Sunday.

He needs to drop the lawyer business, quick. I think he is sovereign, because he was ordained before V2 and the Vatican city is a soveriegn nation. There is a better way than to use a lawyer.

If you understand the banking system you would know that YOU are financing the very same people that are attacking these Bishops.

If we keep telling these Zionist that we want to be their slaves, what is it that you want Bp Fellay to do?

He is probably just satisfying the beast with his words for as long as he can or until B Williamson is out of danger.

His back must be up against the wall and its all about the MONEY. Its a tricky thing to deal with these Zionists. They threaten your life and those of your loved ones. Look what happened to JPI when he wanted to stop this Vatican banking nonsense.

So, have patience with B Fellay. And pray for the wisdom to understand what is going on and how you can help this situation.

"But let your speech be yea, yea: no, no: and that which is over and above these, is of evil."

FWIW, the beast cannot be satisfied, so all attempts are futile.  It is like trying to silence a disordered desire of the passions by giving into it -- not gonna work.

He who does the right thing will never lack what is necessary.  At the end of the Age of Materialism, most of us have a rather warped idea of what is, in fact, necessary.

  • "Fileting" oneself over the Jєωs is cowardice.

They always get their way and are destroying cultures and countries right and left.

Jєωs can have a religious Jєωιѕн state but Zionists and Jєωιѕн liberals in previously Christian and Catholic nations have led the movements to secularize them. We are not even allowed in the U.S. to have a "Christian" country.

Jєωs can have an ethnically Jєωιѕн state yet Zionists and Jєωιѕн liberals in European countries and countries founded by descendents of Europeans, are the first ones leading the way to force multiculturalism on those nations, which is nothing short of genocide.

The Jєωs are imposing tyranny over us.

I am highly suspicious of anyone that defends Jєωs. Those that apologize to them when they know the truth are undoubtedly being threatened or are just plain cowards. Soon the Jєωs will run the SSPX if they are not already.

To the Jєωs reading this, you are encouraged to convert now and I pray for your conversion.
