Those novus ordo people who are only interested in "doing good" without any regard whatsoever to doctrine; who think that God only cares if you "love" and doesn't care about doctrine or laws at all; who only care if you have "peace" in you; who only care about "not judging anyone" and accept effeminates, sodomites, lesbians and all kinds of public sinners; those people who call you a "legalist" if you ever quote any Council, Pope, Saint, the Bible etc. against them; who claim to "love God" but don't care what religion anyone is so long as they "look like good people too and are nice" and those people who all they care about is "being nice" and to please everyone?
Well, i know this represents 99% of the novus ordo people, and that this is just pure apostasy, but could it also be called naturalism?
So long as your zeal is tempered with prudence, there is a time to condemn and a time to be merciful to the sinner. This is why you see the Saints be so kind and yet at the same time most condemnatory. In general be slow to speak and quick to listen, this way you can be able to discern whatever the Lord puts in your lips to convert sinners to repentance.
Some people have never been told they are going to Hell and that alone believe it or not actually makes them self-reflect, later to come back to ask more about the faith. Be silent and the spirit will guide you what to say when defending the Church against Heretics/schismatics wherever you might be. Remember it is the Lord that does the converting we are just like useless brooms that get in the way, more often then not.
Yes very sad to see the spirit of the world in Catholics, there is no difference between them and worldly people. Only difference is one does not attend wannabe Catholic services and others don't attend worship "services" (like atheist/agnostics). Both of them if they do not repent will be to the left side of the Lord in the Day of Judgement, along with the goats.
I will pray that your zeal help you discern a vocation (if you are already not married, but single of course) for the Good Lord, we need souls who desire heaven above all things and willing to be generous with their time/talents/treasure. Whatever you give up, the Lord will give back 100 or 1000 fold (all depending on your charity), now that is interest I can bank on .
