  • God is being unbelievable merciful to man in allowing Bergolio to be the pope. JPII & B16 were good actors, but Bergolio is in the raw, he is not even Catholic in his every deed. Anyone that follows him (the SSPX?) is totally blind or does not care about the Faith. What better gift could real Catholics receive from God, than a clear sign? Anyone that does not see now does not want to see.

  • I've always thought of the parade of modernist popes as a scourge upon the people for their faithlessness, but yours is a more consoling thought.

I think the same as you stated about all the conciliar popes prior to Bergolio, but Bergolio is different, he is in the raw, like I said. The other popes were good actors, they could fool the simple people of good will.

  • Guys, don't just lazy post everything in "General". I created a dozen useful sub-fora for a reason.

When the word "pope" or "Bergoglio" is in the title, it ALWAYS goes in Crisis in the Church. That's baby stuff.

  • There is something in it. What I have observed is that even Novus Ordites who think that John Paul II is a Saint and best Pope in the history, start opening their eyes under the Pontificate(?) of Bergoglio - his apostasy is so manifest and so blatant that anyone with any Sensus Catholicus can see it.

Evidently, there are exceedingly few people who claim to be Catholic that have any Sensus Catholicus.

What does that say for the SSPX who want to/are about to join him?

That is exactly true.  God is also being merciful to Berolio himself who were he to die now would go to Hell.  There is time to repent while he is alive.
"I receive Thee, redeeming Prince of my soul. Out of love for Thee have I studied, watched through many nights, and exerted myself: Thee did I preach and teach. I have never said aught against Thee. Nor do I persist stubbornly in my views. If I have ever expressed myself erroneously on this Sacrament, I submit to the judgement of the Holy Roman Church, in obedience of which I now part from this world." Saint Thomas Aquinas the greatest Doctor of the Church
