    The leadership of the Fraternity of Saint Peter, the Christ the King Institute, Institute of the Good Shepherd, and others are summoned to Rome in September, TaylorMarshall.com reports (August 24).

    Rumours claim that the topics to be discussed include a full acceptance of Vatican II, the legitimacy of the Novus Ordo, concelebrating at the Novus Ordo Chrism Mass and more.

    Voices on social media are afraid that the Roman Rite communities may be all too eager to pass any of Francis’ loyalty tests.

    • Will these priests bring up the jab? Abortion supported by USA bishops? Sodomy?  Rapes and molestations of children and seminarians???  Or will it be building bridges of obedience to Queen Bergolio?

    • I suspect this will lead to a defacto SSPX Prelature as those Priests and laity of the FSSP, ICK, etc. that do not want to further comprise will go to the SSPX, which will be the only "approved" Latin Mass community. So the SSPX can be the "king" of the Latin mass communities without having to officially sign any agreement.

    That can be an issue with the valid orders. You would need to know your priest before you attend an SSPX mass to see whether or not they were ordained in the new rite or a new rite bishop. I know its been an issue but more so if they come over in crowds

    I wish they would just conditionally ordain all coming from the Indult & NO instead of their current policy of confusion.

    I thought as you do, but others well demonstrated (elsewhere, I can't find that thread just now) that you can't just go willy-nilly re-ordaining everyone.  You'd think so, it would be a simple solution, but a blanket policy like that is not licit.

    Please forgive me, but I have been working with very difficult probate matters all afternoon, and my brain is corn meal mush right now.  (Don't anyone dare say "so what else is new?" :jester: ).  I may take the evening off.

    Of course it is, if there's a positive doubt about the Rite itself ... which there clearly is.  You don't have to study every single ordination vis-a-vis "intention" when the rite itself is doubtful.  That's like saying you have to investigate each and every Anglican-ordained "minister".
