  • Clearcut case of manifest heresy.  Once pertinacity has been established (he refuses to recant after being corrected), there can be no doubt that he is not the Catholic pope.

  • Nothing this man says surprises me.  We have to keep pointing out his
errors and outright heresies so he does not deceive the elect.

And who is going to correct him? There won't be any Protestants to correct him in the media on this one, so who is left, the SSPX? I doubt they will make a big deal about this, they were silenced years ago with the new $100+ million seminary and much more.

Francis, however, drew a parallel to the decision taken by Pope Paul VI in the 1960s to approve giving nuns in Belgian Congo artificial contraception to prevent pregnancies because they were being systematically raped.

It is not a sin to take contraceptives, any man or woman can take them. It is a sin to take contraceptives with the intention of having recreational intercourse. The nuns in the Congo had no intention of going out to get raped for fun. They were not gallivanting around in revealing clothing enticing men.  That really has nothing to do with 99.9999999..... of people using contraceptives, for they are using them with the intention of having recreational intercourse. Recreational!

  • We have been on our own since at least the 1960's and earlier, or there would not have been a Vatican II. Stay in a state of Sanctifying Grace by frequent confessions, ask God not to allow you to be confounded and to guide you directly. Yes Francis is a heretic, we've known that all along, it changes nothing in our lives.

From Lucia of Fatima (my elaborations in blue)
    Quote

“Father, we should not wait ... for a call to come from Rome (the Pope), to do penance. Nor should we wait for the call to penance to come from our bishops in our diocese nor from the religious (do not expect any help from the pope, our diocese bishops, religious as was done in prior times ). It is necessary for each one of us to begin to reform himself spiritually. Each person must not only save his own soul but also all the souls that God has placed on our path. “ (Lucia of Fatima)

Contraception is classified by St. Thomas as murder. It is a sin to take contraceptives to frustrate the end of the natural act. That includes people who take them just in case they get raped. Two wrongs don't make a right.

Take what I wrote, take what you responded, neither one cast anywhere near any favorable light on what Bergolio said. BY the way, I agree with you. Had the nuns been taking birth control pills for other medical reasons, what i wrote would apply. What I would have done is withdrawn the nuns from that country. Also, not every rape results in pregnancy, if it does, it is God's Will.

He quoted Paul 6 to support what he said, I case you didn't notice.

This is just funny. The ones from Paul 6 and onwards were just as heretical as him and you know it and only NOW you say he's a heretic.

    Unbearable!

  • Please note that if artificial means of birth control can be used to prevent birth defects caused by the Zika virus, then it can be used for other causes of birth defects. The principle behind Bergoglio's comments make the use of artificial birth control something that can always be used--as long as the purpose intended by the users is to prevent birth defects rather than to prevent pregnancy.

It will not be long before this is taught in Conciliar settings everywhere--especially in pre-Cana classes.

  • There have been many cases where women were told to abort their babies and the babies came out healthy.

What the Pope is suggesting is wrong.

He has made comments about preventing births in regards to bunnies.
May God bless you and keep you
