    http://w2.vatican.va/content/francesco/it/cotidie/2017/docuмents/papa-francesco-cotidie_20170404_nel-segno-della-croce.html

"Jesus became sin ..."He made sin" and took the appearance of the father of sin, the crafty serpent. "

Yes, I carry the cross to show that I am a Christian. ' " It ''s fine, "but" not only as distinctive as if it were a team, a team badge'; But, said Francis, "as the memory of the man who became sin, who became the devil, snake, for us; It is lowered until totally annihilated. "

What sort of blashpemous nonsense is this??

  • At least Antonio Socci is objecting and raising the alarm at Bergoglio's words: (click the translate button to read in English):

Check out Francisquotes.com to see what other outrageous things he has said. Anyone who says this man is really a true Pope is just kidding themselves.

  • Truth is Truecharity, anyone who says the adulterated New Order mess, is a heretic.  That is Public, for all to see.  They are not catholic, they are no member.  The True Church has defined "Pope" and has defined that we do not align ourselves to heretics for if we do we would be working against Christ and the Church that He Instituted.

  • There is another thread on the same subject.

The Pope did not say "Jesus became the devil". He said he "became sin, devil, serpent". Not "the Devil". He is referring to the Serpent of Moses and to Christ's own words "When I am lifted up like the Serpent...". Serpent is the symbol of the devil (see Revelation of St. John). St. Paul says Christ "became sin".

Perhaps an analogy taken too far.

  • Jesus:

"You will be hated by all" (Mk 13:13?)

    "all "means

    other "Christians" as well

Oh well... Look at a crucifix and you will see how hated Jesus was "by all"

Jesus is still being crucified (through his true followers)

yeh. I am sick of those who act like we are just supposed to ignore all the goofy heresy and "respect" him b/c he is pope.

please! Get a brain already. Get a commitment to Christ already. It is like saying we should respect Judas b/c he was one of the 12

    "was" is the key word

16 By their fruits you shall know them. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

When told I must 'respect' NO popes, I look back at the millions of souls lost because of what modernist Churchmen brought about. I lived through these times (I am 75 next month) and saw popes having a great time in Rome waving at packed crowds in St Peter's Square while A Protestant-type graceless mass drove millions around the world into apathy for the Catholic faith while at the same time proper catechisms were put in the waste-baskets to be replaced with junk that teaches nothing to children.
I have seen one of the most Catholic countries on earth (Ireland) turn into a country of ANTI-CHRISTS and no pope or our bishops gave a damn.

Then when I see some of them made saints and blessed I ask how can God allow His Church to be so corrupted by these men? I tell you, the only way to keep the faith is to trust God knows what he is allowing and that He has reasons for allowing them. Perhaps these times are times of testing, a different kind of martyrdom for the faithful.

I agree with the poster. I try not to be devoured by the scandals and concentrate on loving God in the best way I have found, the first dogma of Faith, praising him through the things that He made. Only in the beauty of the sky, the earth, the trees, flowers, birds animals etc do I find the omnipotence of God, not in human society (or Rome) that stinks to low-hell.

i agree w/ what you say except for one thing. I am not sure people were made saints w/o cause
I am not sure Jesus would allow that.
As to your thing about God allowing this craziness in the Church, and how He has his reasons. Well, the primary reason is that God gives us free will. We are therefore free to choose evil or not choose it. And Jesus did tell us that FEW would make it to Heaven (Mt 7:13, Lk 13:24 and etc). That said, it still tends to surprise me that SO MANY choose against Jesus, in myriad ways.. and yet it is only one way: disobedience, obstinancy... just plain out and out rejection. Anyone who REALLY wants to find Jesus and HIs True Church will find it. T
