  • That's not all he can kiss.
"This principle is most certain: The non-Christian cannot in any way be Pope. The reason for this is that he cannot be head of what he is not a member. Now, he who is not a Christian is not a member of the Church, and a manifest heretic is not a Christian, as is clearly taught by St. Cyprian, St. Athanasius, St. Augustine, St. Jerome, and others. Therefore, the manifest heretic cannot be Pope." -- St. Robert Bellarmine

  • Am I the only one here more surprised that the Waldensians are still around? I thought they were a 13th or 14th century heresy!

Bergoglio is really scraping the bottom of the ecuмenical barrel if that's the only holy book he can find to kiss. Even JP II found a Koran. May be a тαℓмυd next? Or a Book of Mormon? That would up the ecuмenical game a bit.
Pray the Holy Rosary every day!!

  • I'd pay good money to see him kiss a Douay-Rheims Bible.

Let's not sully the Douay Rheims with him.  He probably doesn't even know it exists.  He'd be hard pressed to produce an edited and modernized Douay Rheims,  Nothing is safe.
We conclude logically that religion can give an efficacious and truly realistic answer to the great modern problems only if it is a religion that is profoundly lived, not simply a superficial and cheap religion made up of some vocal prayers and some ceremonies...

    Touche. I stand corrected.

Luke, heresies just don't go away; if they just lay low for a while, sadly they always bounce back.

Help of Christians, guard our land from assault or inward stain,
Let it be what God has planned, His new Eden where You reign.
