The old Argentine stuff including collusion with kidnapping of priests looks like Bergoglio killing two birds with one stone, making an offering to the Argentine government, storing up a bit of political credit, but also getting rid of two uncontrollable priests. His actions seem primarily ruled by the basest self interest. I see his prime mover as self interest not Communism. Perhaps too there is a demonic aspect.

Sorry about that.  Maybe Matthew or someone can explain the dynamics of what took place.  When I posted there was a photo image of Francis and then later what you see there.  Weird!
