:confused1:I guess I'm somewhat jaded when it comes to having seen too much.  It disgusts and angers me, even makes me pity the poor deluded souls, but I'm not shocked or surprised.

:pray:The true Catholic response is to LOVE them.  By my own admission, I'm not there yet, so I'm in need of prayers for the necessary graces.

Knowing that you live in New York City where you are barraged almost everyday with seeing degenerate behavior it is understandable to be disgusted by it because it is so unnatural. You can start to feel hemmed in by evil.

You did say that you have pity, which is compassion, which also comes from love. We will both pray for them.

Quote from: stbrighidswell

How come in the prolife movement the presence and courage comes mainly from men.  Its the same here in Ireland.

Because outward displays of bravery and heroism is the province of men, generally. Would you want your wife and children subjected to this? Or if you are not married, your sister and mother?
Edit: on second look, your screen name makes me unsure wether you are man or woman. Sorry if I guessed wrong!

Many times the heroism of women cannot be discerned by looking at the soldiers occupying the battlefield. A heroic woman can more often than not be found in the quiet of the home, tending and encouraging her husbands and sons as they walk in from the battle, everyday. A nurse, if you will. The fervent and quiet prayers of a virtuous and gentle woman hold great weight with our Lord and Lady.

Good Catholic women are heroic indeed. Their marching orders just happen to be different than those of good Catholic men.

Those women in the video are vile. I had to shut it off.
