  • I have no idea who this man is or why his defection is noteworthy but I did find this quote from an interview very telling:

    Q: What brought you back?

A: It was really the pull of the Eucharist. It really was that. That is a centrepiece of worship for me.

Q: It is not exclusive to the Catholic Church. The same sacrament is given elsewhere.

A: That’s why I’m now in the Anglican Church.
    [/u]

    link

Apparently he is very clear sighted - he knows there is nothing unique about the NO, that there is no true "sacrament" there and that the same motions are gone through at the Anglican church.  So since he supports same-sex marriage he wanted out of an organization that does not officially support it and into an organization that does. :clown:

An Anglican "mass" actually looks devout/respectful compared to the new mess.

  • He has seen what a sham the Novus Ordo is, only he has drawn the wrong conclusion.

  • I don't think that it had anything to do with the problems with the Novus Ordo, at least not directly. He said he could not accept the Church's teaching on ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity.

In other words, he'll be a Conciliar catholic again soon.

I am actually astounded at the speed at which ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity has been completely and utterly accepted in Western society.

It only takes one generation to be brought up by the government educators.

    So true.

Incidents like this bring home just how much today's culture is opposed to Catholicism.  We really need to be vigilant for ways our faith is under attack, both for ourselves and for our children.

Personally, I blame the propaganda that is everywhere in the mass media.

Education and media are both factors.
