"Sede vacante" means the chair is vacant, but what does "sedevacantism" mean?
Sede = seat.
 Vacante = empty.
ism =
a belief accepted as authoritative by some group or school.

I also suspect that they believed that their pope would outlive Bergoglio.  Of course nothing is certain yet, but it's looking more likely that he will not.

You’re probably right, that this was part of their fantasy.

Their system is going to become a lot less feasible when Ratzinger is gone. Right now they need Ratzinger to repent and say he didn't really mean to resign (or however they think he should say that), so that he can depose Bergoglio and "restore" the Church.

As soon as he's dead, none of that will be possible, and they will be facing the grim scenario of Bergoglio living out his days (or resigning, a resignation that they will DEFINITELY think is valid :laugh1:) and being followed by a conclave composed to a large extent of Bergoglio-appointed cardinals whom they don't even know are valid or not, and the successor will probably be another Bergoglio-equivalent. And since they reject the 2013 conclave on the grounds that the see was not vacant (it was filled by Ratzinger) when it took place, they won't have that objection to make when the next conclave comes around, so they'll probably end up stuck with having to accept the next monster that the Bergoglian cardinals will elect -- either that or become "real" sedevacantists.

And in the meantime, they will be called the hated insult "sedevacantists" until Bergoglio dies, which likely won't be for years. Their whole world is collapsing around them. It's no wonder they are filled with rage.

May the Good God have mercy on Benedict and may he have the grace of public repentance before he dies which would help to save many souls who have been led astray by his words and deeds.

The poor Bennyvacantists who have been deceived into thinking that this man,

who dressed up as pope, representing the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church

and SUBMITTED

to a witch doctor for a "blessing"

https://traditioninaction.org/RevolutionPhotos/A272rcBlessedRatz.html

and wore his special "Star of Remphan" hat

when he said "Latin Mass"

is somehow the great hope for Tradition.

St Stephen:

"And you took up the tent of Moloch, and the star of the god Remphan, the images which you made to worship; and I will remove you beyond Babylon."[4]

(see more about what the Star of Remphan means here!!!)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remphan#:~:text=Remphan%20(Ancient%20Greek%3A%20%CF%81%CE%B5%CE%BC%CF%86%CE%B1%CE%BD),mentioned%20in%20Amos%205%3A26.

Well, I was deceived by him at one time.  I was told Ratzinger was liberal in his youth but he gained insight and became conservative and traditional as he grew older.

I had to "dig" to find the truth.  Why is that?  Why are so many Tradcasters deceiving people?  I used to trust that these people

like Ann Barnhardt

had done their research.

No.  Either they have not researched or they are purposely acting as gatekeepers to the truth.

Is it possible these tradcasters do not know that Benedict wrote books while "acting" as pope that state the bodily resurrection of Our Lord Jesus didn't happen and that Jєωs don't need Him to go to Heaven???

Well, they should get off the internet, return the money to their supporters and do their research before leading more well meaning Trads astray!

Still, this is no time for Sedes to spout haughty laughter at those who were deceived and rub anyone's nose in the dirt with an, "I told ya' so."  smh

There but for the grace of God go any of us!

It's time for those who are striving to maintain the apostolic Catholic Faith as it was handed down to us to reach out to confused Catholics seeking the Truth with charity and understanding.

After all, there are some who claim that since Rome has apostatized we should now become Russian Orthodox as if the Catholic Faith was lost along with the buildings in Rome.

No!  The Catholic Faith is still here!
