  • Frank Walker, who runs the Canon212.com site, had put up three headlines to this video from Michael Matt. MM has compromised long ago, and ever since this "so-called pontificate of Francis" (as Fr. Gruner aptly called it), The Remnant took advantage and tapped into a new market of disaffected neo-Catholics searching for answers. Matt makes it mostly about the TLM and wants "trads" to get along (quit the "circular firing squad") and take on fighting the Modernists together.

    Quote from: Canon212.com
IT’S NOT ABOUT FRANCIS. IT’S NOT ABOUT TED MCCARRICK. IT’S ABOUT MODERNISTS AND THEIR nєω ωσrℓ∂ σr∂єr! – IS THE REMNANT’S MATT DISSUADING ATTACKS ON FAITHLESS FRANCIS AND HIS PERVCHURCH?

Matt: 'We cannot make our resistance merely about Francis, OK? That’s the easy way! And we’re going to defend Holy Mother Church from those who seek to use the sex scandal to destroy her, see?!'

'Let’s put on our happy face and welcome all those Catholics out there who are becoming trads, and tell them that JPII was just like Francis since they don’t know better yet, OK? Enough talk about the 'priest' sex abuse crisis!?'
"I think that he [Pope Benedict] was pushed... he semi-resigned... he didn't completely resign, he semi-resigned... he made way for another pope to take his place... but he kept, nevertheless, the white habit, he kept various things of the Papacy." - Bishop Williamson

  • I think Matt is sincere. But sincerely wrong.

  • Michael Matt thinks that Traditional Catholics need to be nice and look good to outsiders so we can encourage Novus Ordo people to come to Mass.  He thinks we should be quiet about all those debauched boys and the seminarians who had to leave the seminary because it looks bad. I say NO to that. Saying "Don't talk about the scandals," is the same kind of thinking that got us the scandals in the first place.

Now that is strange, I thought he spoke like a Catholic. If Matt said "Don't talk about the scandals," he said it in context, for he himself has done a lot more than we have in exposing these scandals.

He said the scandals are a result of Vatican II's reformation and you must expose the root and kill it in order to put a stop to it. We have seen many expose the scandals, but so far Rome couldn't give a damn.
