I refer to this when times get tough:

Or, when it becomes hard to bear the sufferings that will come (like just now, keeping my silence while my coworkers openly commend the firing of those against the vax):
"Father, if thou wilt, remove this chalice from me: but yet not my will, but thine be done." Luke 22:42
