    • The Baltimore Catechism is being replaced by Montessori method.  Montessori was a liberal woman who had an affair then became pregnant.  She refused to marry the father because she would have to quit her research. She places the boy with foster parents.... And yet she is bring referred to as devout Catholic.  And her method is basically putting the child in charge of learning for future flakes.

    • From a traditional Catholic stand point what do you think of the  Montessori method, including the Good Shephard Montessori catholic.

    Viva, I would not trust this website. They say she was a theosophist when in fact she was according to this http://www.womenofgrace.com/blog/?p=16584 a devout Catholic. Did you do a search on CathInfo. There have been other threads on Montassori. I think the best thing is to read her writings which I have never had the need to do.
