Tom says the "r"s and "other things"(?) are written in the "same way". Here is a side by side of all "r"s contained in the signatures. Letter #1 contains one in "Peter", Letter #2 contains four: two in "Pierre", one in "Martin", and one in "Archevêque". These are shown clockwise from the top left image.
I have no experience in handwriting forensics, but I see zero similarities between the "r" at top left and any of the other "r"s. I'm not sure what Tom is seeing.
Interesting to note is that the "r"s in Letter #2 that come after an "A" (bottom two images) are a different style than the "r" that comes after the "e" in "Pierre" (Letter #2 as well, top right. Left of image). The style of the "r" after "e" in Letter #1 (top left) does not resemble the "r" after "e" in in Letter #2 (top right).
Note how the ligature from "e" to "r" in Letter #1 (top left) creates an almost 90° angle, while the ligature from "e" to "r" in Letter #2 (top right, left of image) doesn't even come close to forming any sort of sharp angle
Again, I don't know anything about studying handwriting, so I'm not going to say that these are 100% the signatures of two different people..but Tom's dismissal of the glaring differences and "refutation" (which was just easily deboonked) once again points to the fact that Tom suffers from profound mental retardation
I am curious to see what "other things" Tom finds written in the "same way"..because it's certainly not the "r"s
