Rome) The Apostolic Commissioner, the Capuchin Father Fidenzio Volpi OFM Cap from the Congregation of Religious, with the approval of Pope Francis, instead of the Order leadership, with sole decision-making power at the head of the Order of the Franciscans of the Immaculate set (FI),  has given the real reason for the drastic intervention in the life of the Order for the first time.

For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders, insomuch as to deceive (if possible) even the elect. (Matthew 24:24)

  • It's deplorable that the FFI have been persecuted by modernist hierarchy and also by those in the FFI who wanted the FFI to turn away from traditional teachings and the TLM. Some who are in the FFI (or associated with them) have outright lied about the traditional FFI members being extreme in their views. It's obvious that tradition won't be tolerated.

In the latest article today on Eponymous Flower, prayers are being requested for Fr. Stefano Maria Manelli, the founder of the FFI. He is very ill. What he is going through is similar to what happened to Padre Pio and Archbishop Lefebvre.

The article states that some of the FFI brothers, who are loyal to Fr. Manelli, might appeal to Ecclesia Dei to start a new order. Good luck with that. The Pope would never approve such an order (IMO).

"It is licit to resist a Sovereign Pontiff who is trying to destroy the Church. I say it is licit to resist him in not following his orders and in preventing the execution of his will. It is not licit to Judge him, to punish him, or to depose him, for these are acts proper to a superior."
