This Cardinal Schonborn presided over an assembly where the assembly was encourage to write a prayer or request to God and tie it to a balloon and let go of the balloon so it can ascend to the heavens...

Gives a new meaning to "prayers ascending to Heaven," doesn't it? I'll take incense any day.

I read the article that was linked in the OP.

The Cardinal described two (2) miracles.  The first was at the conclave and it is not to be spoken of - I guess we can always count on Cardinal Schonborn to be less flamboyant than Cardinal Mahony.  The second one was when a visiting couple from Latin America whispered Bergoglio in the ear of the cardinal.

I guess the cardinal considers homeys voting for their own to be some form of miracle.

I can't believe anyone takes Schonborn seriously, even in the NO. The guy is a walking caricature of an old, out of touch liberal.
