  • From what I've been reading, it seems a number of influential people in the Vatican are really serious about labeling the last 40+ years of church nonsense as "tradition".

I really cannot see how the SSPX could ever accept this premise!

On a lighter note, I will be assisting at my very first SSPX Mass at Our Lady Immaculate Chapel on April 15th. I have become extremely unhappy with the Motu Proprio Estraordinary Form having to co-exist in a Paul VI circus environment.

What can I expect at my first SSPX Mass?

  • Grace communicated from a certainly ordained priest (be it at the communion rail or in the confessional), using certainly valid form, matter, and intention.
Rom 5: 20 - "But where sin increased, grace abounded all the more."

    Silence, peace.

Try and go to Confession before Mass to get that extra dose of sacramental grace.  You'll happily be hearing the Mass of Low Sunday and not whatever the Modern Church is serving up.
