Let's do a quick recap of just the past few days, from Bergoglio, et. al behind him:

1. "If laws don’t lead people to Jesus, they are obsolete"
2. "God does not exist"
3. "ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖs have gifts and qualities to offer the Christian community: are we capable of welcoming these people, guaranteeing to them a further space in our communities? Are our communities capable of proving that, accepting and valuing their sɛҳuąƖ orientation.."

Of course, there are innumerable other statements, such as "there is no Catholic God", etc.

It seems like the pace of the great apostacy has increased.

Some months before Benedict XVI resigned I was talking to one of the SSPX theologians, salivating for a deal with Rome, and I asked him what would the Society do were Rome to make revolutionary changes in the Church (?). He answered that the Society would adhere to, and give witness to the Faith, ever more strongly.

If this man was working for a publisher of scientific journals who decided to switch over to pornography, I wonder what he would do? Carry on working as diligently as ever?

The chastisement has already began and at this point only a miracle can help the children of God. The liberal proggresive MAFIA appointed by Pope Francis is controlling the Vatican to an unprecedented extent, trying to dupe the whole Church into thinking the Catholic Bishops of the World decided not to veto promoting mortal sin and sacrilege. Days of LOT! Pope Francis is a punishment and a test from God.

Some people seem to think that this is just another walk around the block of conciliardom. But I don't see it that way. I thin that you are correct that this is a tremendous ramping up of the pace.

this is just discussion at the synod which will not release any
final docuмent until next year. it is a discussion format ONLY
and the media is misrepresenting and blowing it out of proportion.
so at least wait until you see what it says next year.

Expect no change on ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ relationships, only a general
statement about how the Church does not want to exclude
souls who have committed this sin from being able to participate
in Church functions, etc.

Most of you here on CI "cut bait" from the NO Church awhile ago. I still swim in those circles a bit, amd let me tell you, many of them are watching/listening to this synod very closely.

Be cynical, but if the changes come that we are expecting to come, you should expect to see some new faces, whether you're CMRI or SSPV or SSPX (at least until they find out that the Society is approaching the sane crisis)

"Law" is a system of rules meant to identify right from wrong. They don't "lead" anyone anywhere. Sounds like he doesn't believe in sin (law-breaking)

Hmmm... what does he believe in?

Well, no law has driven more souls away from Christ than the "lex orandi" of the Novus Ordo Missae- So that law should be the first on the chopping block according to this dictum.

Not that I expect Modernists to have even a shred of intellectual honesty, however...

The title is taking what Pope Francisaid out of context. In this case Pope Francis is right. this is a commentary on the problems that Paul had within the early Christian communities. There were some who said that in order to be a good Christian you also had to follow the old Mosaic law. They wanted all the men to be circuмcized. And really what is the purpose of law. The purpose of the law is to bring us closer to Christ. If it is not somehow bringing us closer to Christ then maybe it should be changed or done away with. Of courst this does not mean that the ten commandments are cancelled. It is still wrong to kill, to lie, to steal. All these things bring us away from Christ and his love. We still have to love God with all of our mind our heart and our soul. But it is the small things that the Devil later on turns into a big deal. It is the Pharaisaical attitude that we can fall into so very easily. If something like this is getting in the way of your relation with Christ then maybe you should do away with it.
