Any CMRI Folks Here on Cathinfo?

  • Hi as the title says, are there any CMRI faithful here on Cathinfo?  I think I have seen some post that they are but I can't remember specific names.

I am thinking about going down to visit my nearest CMRI chapel one Sunday in the near future, just to visit and see another Trad chapel.  The nearest to me that I can find via internet search is the CMRI chapel in Tacoma WA, St Mary's which would be about 3.5 hr drive away.  Does anyone go there, or has visited there?  If so I would like to ask a few basic questions for CMRI faithful maybe via private message.

    Thanks,

    Luke

  • See my PM.
If anyone says that true and natural water is not necessary for baptism and thus twists into some metaphor the words of our Lord Jesus Christ" Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit" (Jn 3:5) let him be anathema.

  • The CMRI seem theologically sound, and I support them completely. Some of the priests do Mass circuits which are not posted on the website, and it is always best to contact the nearest chapel and ask (preferably email).

  • The CMRI are the only organized group that rejects Antipope Francis and all of the heresies of Vatican II.  They have their act together, and are growing exponentially.

  • CMRI is heretical with regard to their understanding of EENS.  I would avoid them as a result.

Now we have an explanation for why Ambrose and JAM are so heretical on this subject.

  • We are with CMRI and if it were not for them we would have nothing at this point.  I do not agree with the post before mine.

  • That's right, Myrna and Emerentiana, two more of the big-time BoDers, are also CMRIers.

    So far we have

    Ambrose,
    JAM,
    Myrna,
    Emerentiana

    linked to CMRI.

So far only SJB and LoT remain unconnected to CMRI in terms of those who are most hostile to the dogma that there's no salvation outside the Church.

And it's no wonder from an organization that twice printed an article entitled "The Salvation of Those Outside the Church".

By their fruits you shall know them, and their fruits appear to be quite rotten, judging from the above CMRI members.

  • A perfectly fine and sincere question, derailed by personal attacks on two complete gentlemen, a lady, and a sweet grandmother.

Sorry that your thread was ruined with Ladislaus' unhelpful garbage, Luke.

What does it mean to be linked to CMRI?   I have not learned my Faith from CMRI.

I would rather be linked to CMRI, however than linked to the heretical Dimonds and Feeneyites.

Do not listen to this lie.  CMRI defends EENS.  All priestly groups SSPX, CMRI, and the Resistance all defend Catholic teaching on EENS and Baptism of Desire and Baptism of Blood.

This man, along with the heretical Dimonds and Feeneyites rejects Catholic teaching on Baptism of Desire and Baptism of Blood.

Hi thanks for the idea, I think I will try this.

And thanks for all the PM's and responses.  Except for Ladislaus  :furtive: not every thread needs to be a BoD thread!  See folks, this is why trads can't have nice things...
