His Holiness? He's a crock...
They have convinced themselves that it's like with Alexander VI, or someone else taken to be an immoral Renaissance Pope, and that they still have to pay him the lip service of calling him "His Holiness."
Don't worry, though. It's just a formality. They think he has held the office through a loophole. Most of them don't really like him and take any opportunity they can to rip him to shreds.
This dichotomy is very strong on the SSPX haven of AngelQueen, where at one moment they all act very sincerely loving towards Benedict and say they are going to pray for the Pope and his intentions, and the next they are lobbing insults at him and his absurd Hegelian mealy-mouthed speech. That is why if I were in the SSPX, I would just keep my mouth shut about the subject, kind of like Matthew does. I would not take part in this strange masquerade of pretending that I don't know what I know, which is that he is not traditional in any sense of the word.
If Matthew becomes a sede, the transition will be smooth and painless because he never really defended Ratzinger. Hint hint.
Um... Bishop Williamson of the SSPX says that although he respects Benedict XVI and all, Benedict has a sick mind. I don't think Bishop Williamson supports him since he claims he has a sick mind and called him a modernist. He's correct, too. The mind of a modernist is a sick one. Benedict is a modernist, so he has a sick mind.
