St John Chrysostom died in exile after a long forced march. One wonders how much of this earthly Purgatory he could have avoided if he had been a bit milder.
Milder? By your standards, yes. Today's "modern standards" where people are getting fired from their jobs because some pink-haired Berkeley communist shylock who "identifies" as an Apache helicopter heard the word "fαɢɢօt", or "white" from three states away and screamed about it on Twitter.
These "modern standards" that exist only because the powers that be want to eradicate Christianity and any remaining sense of morals from the public eye, like in the image below.

no need to be
milder to anyone. To wimp out before Our Lord to His killers would be a complete insult before Him... especially, when, Poche, we must be honest here, the same people that St. John speaks about in his homilies are the same people that have caused society to turn anti-European, anti-Catholic and anti-natural law in the first place.
