    Francis I is an Antipope.

    Francis I is an Antipope because his election is invalid.
    Francis I is an Antipope because he was elected by men who are Heretics.
    Francis I is an Antipope because he was elected by men who are not real Cardinals.
    Francis I is an Antipope because he is a Heretic.
    Francis I is an Antipope because he is an Idolater.

    Francis I is an Antipope.


    I am a Catholic.
    Therefore, I reject this evil heretic, Francis I.
    I do not recognize Francis I as Pope.

    • I look at this as a blessing, since BXVI fooled so many, here's hoping more see the direction things are going in earnest without all the smoke and mirrors and trappings of tradition, like hats and shoes and toleration of the TLM and finally make the leap to the logical conclusion.

    • Dear Iuvenalis,
    That is my hope: that more people will see through this Antipope.
    Antipope Benedict XVI convinced many that he was some sort of Catholic, just a bit confused.
    Hopefully "Francis I" will fail to convince anyone that he is a Catholic.
    Let us hope that people see through his pretense.

    Has that happened with BHO on a temporal level?  No offense, my friend, but you are dreaming.  People are rather stupid and, what is more, they are willfully blind due to myriad inordinate attachments.  VERY few, in my opinion, will see anything until the temporal -- i.e. material, tangible -- hammer falls so hard and so clearly that none will be able to doubt its cause.

    You are right. The same thing happened with Ratzinger's occupation of Rome. I don't know when or how this will all end, but I do know that the world has become increasingly unable to recognize the Church and what Catholicism looks like, but the good news is that more Catholics are waking up to the fact that something isn't right.

    You couldn't even say 'sedevacantism' 10 years ago without everyone shutting down, now people are at least willing to discuss the position rationally, without veins bulging from the neck.

    That is the case, Mabel.
    10 years ago, that Hellish man Antipope John Paul II caused people to almost idolize him.
    So Sedes were falsely considered to be very bad. But, fortunately, the truth is now reaching a widening audience.
    Antipope Benedict XVI did not have the evil sway over people that JPII had.
    Hopefully, Antipope Francis I will also have little ability to win good Catholics over to his heresy.
