From a traditional friend:
Thanks to God, we are all well. The earthquake was here, but mostly it hit the area between Modena and Ferrara. We didn’t have much damage where we live, only a big scare. In Modena area tremors continue. Of the 150 churches, 120 are destroyed. Perhaps the Eternal Father is fed up.(See frames 18 and 20. You will notice that what remains of the two churches is the façade! - my comment)

Finally, about +Fellay and all that: Fellay has tried to drag FSSPX into a disastrous accord prepared by the fox, Ratzinger. Fortunately he has met a strong resistance on the part of the other bishops and also a good part of the clergy. But it went very close to a catastrophe. However, now within FSSPX is breathing a different air. There are not many examples of combatitive spirit and condemnation of modernist error, but the idea seems to prevail that Ratzinger is not so bad. We’ll see about that...
