If we are to determine whether something is pleasing to God or not by the reaction of others, we would not have the Crucifixion, we would not have  St. Joan of Arc burnt at the stake, and countless other saints who made the wicked angry.

I never said the counter position was demonic or stupid in itself, it depends on how informed and culpable a person is on the matter. I said the manner in which people act on here sometimes is demonic, which I know you agree with. I also have never called someone stupid, that's on you.
