But he's on good terms with Father Cekada, who is aligned with +Dolan, who was consecrated by the CMRI Bishop Pivarunas. I was under the impression that +Dolan and Cekada generally cooperate with the CMRI.

Yes, I know that CMRI priests will ocassionally help SGG priests and vice a versa (e.g., especially in areas that are underserviced, say if there is a sick call that a priest from one group cannot make). But this kind of cooperation occurs pretty generally throughout the traditionalist world, even between sede and non-sede clergy, so it isn't remarkable.

Do you know what his issues are with the CMRI if it isn't merely with their founding?

The una cuм, so far as I can tell. Also, he once told a friend of mine that CMRI chapel attendants are slovenly in dress. I am not sure how seriously that insight of his factors into his derision of the group. I will admit that the CMRI chapels I have been to are-- compared to every other traditionalist mass I've been to-- the most relaxed in attire, especially for men. I hasten to add, though, that many CMRI chapels are fairly rural (the ones I have been to certainly are). When your congregation is made up of farmers, Sunday best isn't the same as it is in a city. It's a cultural/customary thing. We're not talking basketball shorts, mind you. Just a lot of plaid shirts.

Just thought I would offer an update on seminarians from MHT assisting at CMRI chapels.
While there was time not long ago when seminarians were told not to assist at CMRI chapels when home, that has in more recent times changed. They can do so. I have even known seminarians to serve Mass at such missions
Perhaps some misunderstanding, or old news, is out there.

That is encouraging if unexpected to hear, Joe. My information comes from a young man, a seminarian who was there two or three (maybe four, max?) years ago.
