... seems like the Archbishop has stalled out there in his realization that Ratzinger (back through Roncalli) were all part of the problem. He's made it quite clear that the Crisis did not begin with Bergoglio, and the princples he laid out in his last couple letters suggested that logically, and for the same reasons, those pre-Bergoglian Antipopes were not legitimate popes either. He also explicitly laid out the notion that the Holy Spirit would prevent legitimate popes from wrecking the Church. He even coined a term referring to those who believe that Bergoglio is the problem, calling them (very aptly) "Montinians".
I'm not sure if he's just playing some political game, in the sense of Bergoglio being an easy whipping boy, highly unpopular with the majority of political conservatives due to his open Leftist political stance, and figuring that in a sense it doesn't matter what his predecessors were ... since they're dead now. Perhaps he imagines that if he can rally enough support behind people realizing that Jorge is an Antipope, the next steps could then be taken. But I don''t think it'll happen, as most of the SedeBenePleneBergoglioVacantist crew (aka the Bennyvacantists) are intransigient in their support for this greatest Trad pope since St. Pius X.
