    • I recently watched the film about Padre Pio and it got me doing some reading on the net about him.  It turns out that (and please correct me if I am wrong) that only two priests who lived after Vatican II have been canonized.

    They are Padre Pio and Jose Maria Escriva.  Both requested (and received) an indult to say the traditional mass exclusively.
