  • The bishops of two Portuguese-speaking nations in western Africa have issued a pastoral note rebuking some charismatic prayer groups.

“Without the knowledge of the pastor or the approval of the diocesan bishop,” persons who do not frequent the sacraments have started charismatic prayer, healing, and deliverance groups that have attracted “hundreds or even thousands,” the bishops of Angola and São Tomé and Príncipe stated.

Such groups “may never be formed without the approval of the diocesan bishop,” they added.

  • Such groups “may never be formed without the approval of the diocesan bishop”?

So, I take it that the problem is not that these are unCatholic groups, that these kind of groups are, at their foundation, Satanic.  The problem is that they didn't get permission from the Conciliar bishop first?

  • Tangled webs...    ....spun by deceivers....

    Where to start?

    At the top?

    Bottom?

    Anywhere?

No, I am going to just let this one pass because it doesn't matter.
