Dear Eamon,

I had an idea. I wonder if the creation of a self-help board that tells the story of different peoples bad experiences with the SGG/Cult should be made. It can be a website that helps people get out of the cult and it can show people that they are not lone nuts dealing with that psychopath Father Cekada. It could be used as a healing tool for yourself and others. People can email their stories of abuse at SGG and it can be posted for the world to see. These vipers need to be exposed fully. The creation of it could also be used as a healing tool for yourself Eamon.

  •

I sometimes fear history repeating itself within the traditional chapels.  Sometimes people are led right of the frying pan into the fire.

There have been so many splits, expulsions from parishes, disasters in the forming of schools.  Sgg is most certainly not the only place where problems go unresolved.  However, their clergy are so media-savvy and such prolific writers of criticism, one might be forgiven for holding them to a higher standard.

I would hope that people do not fall into the temptation of condemning entire groups or organisations.  It seems it is easy to do, even with entire countries of souls.

Any one of us can be misled by a socialised psychopath.  The "traditional Catholic Movement" with its lofty standards, beautiful masses, brilliant clergy and huge families is exactly as vulnerable to a career psychopath as any other group of people.

Psychopaths know how to play you or me before we could even suspect that something is not quite right.  Further, a socialised psychopath always has a loyal group of either overt or covert bullies who will lie and do whatever is neccessary to maintain the staus quo.  This is true in corporations, schools, or any place which offers something that people need or desire, whether it is a paycheck, an education or the Sacraments or even social status

People do not stand up to them without serious consequences.  And they are so very believable and often charming to certain people, maybe even most people.

But if you are the unlucky target or if you see the mask come off, you're gonna wish you hadn't.  And then you're going to wish that someone would please support you, but they won't.  They won't because the psychopath already manipulated everyone ages ago.  They will have already been manipulated into disliking, mistrusting or disrespecting you.

It takes years to figure out what the socialised psychopath and his team have done.  People slink off, others would really rather not get targeted themselves, and some are just slaves to human respect and never help anyone but themselves anyway.

  • Thank you for the idea, sedetrad.  At this time, I am not in a position to organize such, but time will tell.  Perhaps others will wake up, speak up, or at least feel the need to handle things differently than until now.  I just cranked out a little ditty.  Where it goes from here is up to others who have been/are being affected.

That was an excellent post, Elizabeth.  In time, and not much, IMO, they will destroy themselves.  Sadly, others will likely be hurt as they go down.  This is, as you know, the usual process.

Traddie-land is NOT well.  God, in his mercy, and in his own time, will heal us of our self-inflicted wounds - insofar as we let him, of course.
