  • Everyone,

Feel free to respond, but here is a question which I would like to ask Michael Voris, if I could:

    Quote
    Mr. Voris,

On some your ChurchMilitant TV YouTube programs, you admonish Protestants to come into the full unity of the Roman Catholic Church.  Why not the schismatic Orthodox?  Did not Pope Boniface VIII state the following in Unam Sanctam:

"Therefore, if the Greeks or others should say that they are not confided to Peter and to his successors, they must confess not being the sheep of Christ, since Our Lord says in John 'there is one sheepfold and one shepherd.'"

Why invite the heretic Protestants and not the schismatic Orthodox into the Mystical Body of Jesus Christ?

    Sincerely & Blessings,

    "Me"

Okay, folks, what do you think?!

  • The hypocrisy of Voris is this:

He promotes the idea of non-Catholics converting to the faith, and promotes the "pope", yet his pope does not believe in converting other faiths to the church. Thus Voris disagrees with his pope on this issue for one.

Voris also preaches about purgatory and hell, yet the modern church hierarchy, including Francis and Benedict, do not share his view.

Voris wants to promote some continuity of tradition, but will not admit that the consequences of his opinion mean that he must condemn those who hold office, "pope" included, who contradict tradition.
Which is superior, tradition or the costume?

    SG

    I really, really dislike Voris.

However, you want to know why an American, making a web program in English, which is watched in the United States and other English-speaking countries, makes his appeal to Protestants and not Orthodox?

This is the question you want to ask?

Why not just ask him why he cuts his hair with a Flobee, if you're going to ask stupid, stupid questions.

  • I think your question is part of a larger question to Voris:

Why is it that you only take your criticisms of the NO church just so far?

I actually like him.  I think he has a lot of good and important things to say, but he never goes far enough.  I'm left frustrated after watching his videos.

I think that the emphasis of bringing heretic Protestants, instead of Schismatic Orthodox, to the Catholic Church, may be in part because Mr. Voris is focusing on reaching the people of America which was mainly Protestant, not Orthodox.

Another reason may be that the Schismatic Orthodox at least can claim apostolic succession from the times Our Lord walked the earth whereas Protestants are heretics sectarians that are not even able to trace its roots before the XVI century.
If anyone says that true and natural water is not necessary for baptism and thus twists into some metaphor the words of our Lord Jesus Christ" Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit" (Jn 3:5) let him be anathema.

  • It strikes me that Mr. Voris has good intentions, like most conservative Catholics.

However, as a conservative Catholic, he doesn't acknowledge the elephant (Francis) in the room.

Per +W's advice, we have to scrutinize all those publicly speaking for the Faith.

We have to ask, is Mr. Voris legitimate?

If so, we would expect him to eventually realize the dire situation and gravitate towards the militant Catholic Resistance.

If he's illegitimate, he'll continue to ignore the crisis and only function as a conservative mouth-piece for newChurch.

I think a main reason why he doesn't "go far enough" is his connections with Cardinal Burke (or at least I thought that Cardinal Burke was a Voris supporter...someone correct me if I'm wrong).  I pray that Cardinal Burke has a "come to Jesus moment".  If so, I think Voris would follow suit.  If this happens, I think we could see a whole lot of trads waking up.

    Granted, that's a big *if*.

Hmm... I see that he's a wine drinker   :detective:

Maybe Father Chazal could invite him out to an French restaurant and give him the "Resistance" sales pitch ?

The above combinations of icons looks like a Novus Ordo Mass.

I have never said aught against Thee. Nor do I persist stubbornly in my views. • I enjoy listening to Michael Voris. He's quiet entertaining if nothing more. But, he does have good things to say. There are very few out there saying it like it is, even though he is in the Counciliar Church. I pray he sees the light someday.
