That's an interesting news from today. I am sorry for a probably poor translation from Polish into English.

Today, 10th of April, 2016 the bishop of Legnica, Poland, Zbigniew Kiernikowski announced during a mass (NO) the following:

As Bishop of Legnica I hereby inform about an incident that happened in the parish of St. Jacek in Legnica and which has the hallmarks of the Eucharistic miracle. On 25th December, 2013 during a distribution of Holy Communion, a consecrated Host fell to the floor and was picked up and placed in a vasculum. After some time some red stains appeared on it. The then Bishop of Legnica Bishop Stefan Cichy appointed a commission which task was to observe the phenomenon. In February 2014, a tiny red fragment of the Host was collected and put on a corporal. The Commission ordered the taking of samples and conduct appropriate tests by different competent authorities.

According to the Bishop, the Forensic Medicine Department (most probably of Medical University in the nearby Wrocław, not specified) stated that:

The histopathological tissue fragments were found containing fragmented part of the skeletal muscle. (...) The whole image (...) is the most similar to the heart muscle "(...), with changes that often accompany an agony

The Bishop continues:

Genetic studies indicate the origin of human tissue.

In January this year I presented the whole matter in the CDF in Rome. Today, according to the recommendations of the Holy See, I ordered the parish priest Andrzej Ziombro to prepare a suitable place for a display of the Relics so that the faithful could give it proper veneration (adoration). (...)

I hope that all this will serve to deepen the cult of the Eucharist and will be unmistakable impact on the lives of people approaching the Relic. We read this marvelous sign as a particular expression of kindness and love of God, who so descends to man.

Understand that since we live in the age of the Great Apostasy, the only true miracles to be found today are miracles of conversions, conversions through yours and my prayers for sinners, our family, friends and the world in general.  Our Lady said she would work in secret, remember!

The reason Heaven is so quiet today is to avoid the confusion of strange prodigies coming from the evil one.  It is said that in those days, great power will be given to the devil.  

Satan said, “I could destroy Your Church if I had the time, and more power over those who give themselves over to my service.” And then Pope Leo heard Christ to answer, “You have the power, you have the time.

This was when the St.Michael Defend us in the battle prayer was composed.  Notice too this was one of the first things the Modernist removed at the end of the Mass.  I remember as a child having to pray this powerful prayer after Mass during my school days back in the 50's.
