Also the idea that women are more empathetic falls flat in my experience, men are much better at thinking "Okay if I was that african tribesman how would I act?" whereas women tend to get stuck at "If I was put into that african tribesman body and situation what would I do?". Big difference.
Accept neither of those are empathy.

First one is empathy, second one is sympathy.

Actions are empathy?  Define empathy?

Actions are empathy?  Define empathy?

empathy: the action of understanding, being aware of, being sensitive to, and vicariously experiencing the feelings, thoughts, and experience of another

sympathy: a feeling or expression of sincere concern for someone who is experiencing something difficult or painful

projection: the attribution of one's own ideas, feelings, or attitudes to other people or to objects

Now how did your examples above show empathy.

Here is what I think empathy looks like.  I saw a woman with an embarrassing head covering (they were the ones that could be borrowed) a yellow mesh that looks nothing like a veil.  I felt how uncomfortable that was for the her, so I provided a better veil.  Do men do that?
