Thanks for this! Wow, I'd read Chiesa Viva (and linked up to some of the PDFs just to rankle the swine), but I never knew of Fr. Villa or his story.

For those of you who were unfamiliar with Fr. Villa, his books which can be obtained through the Apostolate of Our Lady of Good Success are excellent.  Most telling of the current situation is Father's last book, entitled Vatican II About Face!  I highly recommend it to everyone.  The overall emphasis/request for all traditional Catholics to band together against the evils of the hierarchy was Fr. Villa's last and most important message.  May he rest in peace.
